"Artists of the West" Book
Exciting News!  I am a featured artist in the large 170 page hard-bound coffee-table book showcasing artists from all over the West. I will have 50 copies available for sale (they retail for $54.95).  Upon your request, each book can be specially remarqued (small original drawing) on the front, inside cover (remarqued editions sell for $95).

SOLD New painting, titled "I Need Some Air" was accepted into the Wildling Art Museums' show: Endandered Species: Flora and Fauna in Peril, in Los Olivios, California. This painting is also featured on the cover of the museum's show catalog. The exhibition, currently on display at the Wildling Art Museum, is scheduled to travel to the U.S. Department of the Interior Museum in Washington D.C. (Nov. 1, 2008-Feb. 28, 2009) and to The Wildlife Experience in Parker, Colorado (May 9-July 12, 2009).

"Just Grazing at Elk Prairie" features a Roosevelt elk I watched nibbling on blackberries at the Redwood National Park in California. This is a 10 x 10 oil on board. amd I plan on painting a companion piece. Please inquire if interested.

Public Project!  Salmon for the Sandy, a fundraiser for the Sandy River Watershed in Sandy, Oregon.  See below for more information.

My large salmon will be on display at the BLM office in Salem, Oregon from July 9th - Oct. 19th.

• July 5th, 2007 -  I was selected to participate in the "Salmon for the Sandy" art project, whereby I've painted a 52 inch fiberglass salmon and a 24inch fiberglass salmon.  The Western Rivers Conservancy organized the project and these salmon will be mounted outside throughout downtown Portland, Oregon in July, 2007.  In October, the salmon will all come together and be auctioned off at the Portland Art Museum to the highest bidders.  The money raised will benefit the Sandy River Watershed.  Read more about the event.

"Early Morning Surprise."  Award Winning Painting!   This painting  was  selected as one of the top 50 for the national Paint America Mini Top 50 competition.  In addition, I was also awarded the Russ Tanner Juror's Choice Award.   Click here for more details. This small painting (6" x 16") was inspired by the local herd of elk that gather each winter not far from where I live.
