This is a scene from the Hoh River in the Olympic Peninsula that I came across while hiking in the late spring. I loved the color of the water and wanted to use this in a painting, but I wasn't sure how.  Later, after attending a workshop in Montana, I got some great photos of a cougar and decided she would be the perfect fit for this scene Back to Gallery
